He has been practicing the law for 22 years, including cases of government misconduct and civil rights litigation. Before starting his private practice five years ago, Mr. Day served in Santa Fe with one of the oldest and largest law firms of the area. He has a record of success in national security clearance matters, white-collar offenses, homicide, violent crime, and drug offenses, as well as cases abroad.

As a former deputy district attorney in New Mexico and former investigative reporter, Mr. Day has accrued numerous experiences covering political corruption, and now represents the clients he used to document. While at Harvard, he studied the history of New Mexico, and was admitted to practice with the state, followed by the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Tenth Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, the American Bar Association, the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
