Before joining his current firm, Mr. Cole was a long-serving partner of Walton Lantaf Schroeder, which he joined as an attorney in 1974. A Miami native, Mr. Cole attended the University of Florida, earning a BBA in 1970 followed by a JD in 1974. He is a leader in the legal field, and a former president and director of the Dade County Bar Association. Mr. Cole has also been a president of the Miami Breakfast Club of Kiwanis International, and served on the International Association Defense Counsel of the American Bar Association. Notably, he was selected to serve as chairman of the boundaries committee of the city of Miami in 1982.

Mr. Cole is a recipient of an Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, and has appeared in Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders of America. He is an AV-Rated attorney with Martindale-Hubbell, and received numerous other awards, including inclusion with the Top 1.7% of Civil Trial Lawyers in the State of Florida of Florida Trend Magazine.
