Title: Attorney, Novelist
Company: Manchee & Manchee P.C.
Location: Plano, Texas, United States
William Manchee, Attorney, Novelist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Post-Bankruptcy Compliance.
Mr. Manchee is the founder of his family law firm, and he is very proud that two of his children decided to join him as attorneys in the practice without any influence on his part. Manchee & Manchee is one of the few firms in the country that exclusively handles post-bankruptcy compliance. Mr. Manchee is also a genre novelist, author of such books as the mystery “Uncommon Thief,” the science fiction Tarizon Trilogy, as well as “Go Broke, Die Rich: Turning Around the Troubled Small Business.” He now has five grandchildren from his four children with his wife, the late Janet Mello.
Born to Leonard T. and Wilma M. Manchee in Ventura, California, Mr. Manchee married the late Janet Mello in 1967 and started his family early, at the age of 20, and attended the University of California, Los Angeles, to earn a BA in 1969. He completed a JD in 1976 from Southern Methodist University. He was admitted to practice in Texas, and initially started Manchee & Manchee PC in Dallas, which operated from 1977 to 1998. After leading the firm as president, he became president of Top Publications in Dallas, which publishes his books. Mr. Manchee holds a 2016 Distinguished Attorney Award from Martindale-Hubbell, and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Mystery Writers of America.
