Lawrence Greenapple, Esq, Retired Law Firm Partner, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Law.
Most recently a partner of Cox, Padmore, Skolnik, & Shakarchy LLP, Mr. Greenapple has contributed many years to the field since he left the U.S. Army and decided to take a job teaching with the University of Chicago Law School. At the time, he was named a Bigelow Teaching Fellow of the school, and achieved success as a partner in a number of firms. Mr. Greenapple now enjoys the comfort of a large family and reflects on many years of excellence in the law.
An alumnus of Cornell University, Mr. Greenapple earned a JD in 1952, and was an assistant editor of the Cornell Law Review. While he was a noted educator with the University of Chicago Law School, he also lent his services to the Oster Lifelong Learning Institute. Mr. Greenapple initially served as an attorney with Berlack, Isreals & Liberman, and later became a partner of Glass and Greenapple, which became the firm of Glass, Greenapple, and Greenberg. He partnered with Outterberg, Steindler, Houston, & Rosen PC before joining Cox, Padmore, Skolnik & Shakarchy.
Mr. Greenapple served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954, and decided to return to law practice as an educator. Today, he nurtures his six grandchildren, the progenies of his daughter and two sons. Mr. Greenapple married Emily Schneider, now deceased.
