He is specialized in commercial practice, corporate liquidations, asset recovery, and unclaimed property.
Mr. Poulson became involved in his profession because he wanted to understand the law and legal process, as he is fascinated by the law. He attended the prestigious New York University to earn a JD in 1970, followed by admittance to practice by the New York State Bar Association. He has represented numerous financial professionals, including broker-dealers, investment professionals, and private investors. Mr. Poulson is a skilled special litigator, and has represented bankruptcy trustees, debtors-in-possession, securities investor protection corporation trustees, and voluntary corporate liquidations.
A member of the American Bar Association, Mr. Poulson has also supported the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Mr. Poulson was presented an Award from the Preservation League of New York State in 2000, and worked in the legal department of a major brokerage firm before launching his practice. He is the proud father of five children.
